Vintage Inspired Bespoke Soft Furnishings
Crouch End, North London
Bespoke soft Furnishings are made by hand using individual stitch methods to create strong and long lasting pieces.
Contact me to arrange a consultation where I will visit your home to measure and discuss the practical needs that you require from the soft furnishings, including various linings, headings and curtain poles and tracks etc. I will then send you various ideas and fabrics as well as an estimated cost for the work.
I am a small business and work in and around Crouch End, North London. All parts of the project I organise myself so there is a continuity throughout. I can order tracks and blind profiles but I do not fix these to the walls so a handy person will be needed. Please add this into the cost where necessary.

My passion for textiles and fashion started in university at The London College of Fashion. I specialised in embroidery and surface design as well as garment construction and worked as a couture embroiderer whilst studying.
I then went on to work in the fashion industry for different high street retailers as a garment technologist.
In 2020 I completed an AMUSF qualification in Essential Soft Furnishings at the School of Upholstery & Soft Furnishings run by Maggi Loughran. I am lucky to be taught by Maggi who has immense experience and knowledge of the industry as well as being very meticulous and precise to achieve a very high standard of work.
I now work from my loft at home where I make and experiment with textiles, soft furnishings and fashion.
Simple linen cafe curtains can now be ordered and sent by post. I can also provide bespoke classic brass cafe rods which are made to measure.
Please email a photo of the area in the home that you would like the curtain to be placed I can advise the points to measure and the best curtain rod solution. Once the curtain rod or wire is installed I will then need a final drop (length) measurement.
The finished cafe curtain will then be sent by Royal Mail special delivery.
The linen I use is £27 per metre and the perfect combination for privacy but not blocking out too much light.
I am also happy to make these curtains in any other fabric of your choice by sending this fabric directly to me. I find that this is the best option for keeping my charges low.
